WNIN's 43rd Annual Spring Auction begins April 18, 2016!
The annual WNIN Spring Auction will begin on April 18, 2016 and will end on April 24.
The Spring Auction is a live, televised auction. For seven nights WNIN broadcasts live from the studio in downtown Evansville. Each night items and services that have been donated by local businesses are auctioned off by volunteer auctioneers to you, the viewers.
Proceeds raised from the WNIN Spring Auction fund its mission to deliver engaging public media content that informs, entertains and inspires.
Here’s how you can get in on the action….
Watch at Home
Watch WNIN nightly during the auction from 6-10pm to bid on thousands of items and services. You’ll find bargains on everyday items – like restaurant gift certificates, magazine subscriptions, and oil changes. Other times you’ll find unique one-of-a-kind items – like vacations, concert tickets, sports memorabilia and more!
Host a Viewing Party
A WNIN Spring Auction viewing party is the perfect way to draw viewers to your business for a night of fun and bidding wars. Follow @WNIN on Twitter and share photos with the hashtag #IBidOnThat to have your business mentioned during the program. You can also host a viewing party at home!
Donate an Item
This is your business’ chance to get in front of thousands of potential customers! Your company name and item will be in the living rooms of WNIN viewers – viewers that are loyal to businesses that support their local PBS station.
Sponsor a Board
When you sponsor the WNIN Spring Auction your business is broadcast to over 800,000 household at a fraction of the cost of traditional television advertising.
Volunteers run the entire production all week long. Each night over 50 people give their time and have some fun creating a live television broadcast that helps sustain your local PBS station.
